Director of Instruction
Morgan Wright, former Head Golf Professional and current Director of Instruction at The Presidio Golf Course, is a PGA Class “A” Member. He began playing golf at the age of 10 and has over 30 years of playing experience. He made the Vanderbilt University Golf Team as a walk-on in 1986 and then turned professional in 1989. Morgan has over 18 years of teaching experience at The Presidio Golf Course and has been teaching in San Francisco since 1997. He was the University High School golf coach from 2000-2003. Morgan absolutely loves teaching and works well with players of all skill levels. With a strong emphasis on fundamentals, Morgan focuses on all aspects of the game to help create better players, not just better ball-strikers.
